Custom Scoliosis Thoracolumbosacral Orthosis (TLSO)

Description: Plastic and/or plastic-metal orthosis with correctional pads

Function: Maintain and prevent further progression of the spinal curvature accomplished by placement of correctional pads around apex of curve to reduce magnitude of curve while patient is in the brace

Indication: Thoracic, lumbar and thoracolumbar curves

Include on Rx: Diagnosis, type and location of curve. Please provide one full posterior to anterior standing spinal X-ray showing occiput to sacrum. Location of corrective pads are placed according to information in X-ray. Include interpretation of curve limits, degree of curve, apex of curve(s), and Risser maturity.
