Climbing To Make A Difference: Seattle Climbs for ROMP

July 31st marks the start of a global movement as we celebrate the 31st Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) through a pledge to Climb for ROMP.

Wherever you are in the world, you can make a difference. Support the Range of Motion Project’s (ROMP) call to have mobility for all. They aim to spread awareness of the importance of prosthetic care while honoring the international significance of legislation protecting the rights of those with disabilities. #WeStillClimb for the future of disability rights!

Cornerstone fully supports this initiative, so we invite everyone to join ROMP. It’s time to get mobile! Whether you’re a team or an individual, everyone can join the walk, bike, hike, climb or move. Get Mobile Today. Visit Climbing for ROMP for more information.

You’re also welcome to create your versions of “climb,” too! You can run, walk, roll, skip, paddle, hike, climb – MOVE! ROMP is dedicating its mobility to those who do not have access to theirs. It’s time to climb a tree in your backyard or bike around the neighborhood. The idea is to make a statement for disability rights because ROMP believes that all amputees should have the proper technology to be mobile and reach their full potential.

Your support can make a difference. By registering, climbing, and donating, you directly impact an amputee in need through ROMP’s clinics and programs in Latin America and the US. Note that 100% of the funds raised will go now to helping amputees get top-notch prosthetic care.

No matter what mountain, trail, route, gym, or staircase you climb… climb it for ROMP. The mountains may all be different, but united; we can make a huge impact and move others to do the same. Together, let’s conquer your mountains so amputees can reach their summits.
