Deborah Lord “My name is Deborah Lord, and I’m 53. I’ve been a brittle diabetic since I was 10 years old. I had my first amputation in August of 1994 after losing a couple of toes, and then I lost the foot. It’s a Syme amputation. And then, in January of 2000, I lost below the knee on my left leg. But it hasn’t slowed me down much. I still do everything I want to do. I go out with my animals and don’t dance a lot, but I dance around the house and try to help people. Alice at Cornerstone has always been good at answering anything I need or having any questions. Cornerstone explains things well and works with you well.”
